If the light were to disappear
We'd sit before a candle
Laughing in great voices
Perhaps we'd sing
You'd wash your hair
I'd hold you tight in my arms, and you would sleep there.

We can but listen
To all our hearts have to say,
Flowing through life like water
Doing what we must until we die.
