As some kind of a souvenir
I got some money, a borrowed car from a friend
I wanna get back that lady so I am shifting gear
So at last I reach the place where the stars strut down the sidewalk
I started asking around, then I show them her picture
And they show me their smile
So after a while they nod no with that style
I should have known better than to pick up that hiker
